Abstract	Based on the theory of planned behaviour (TPB), the aim of this study was to determine the factors influencing teachers? willingness to adapt their teaching for pupils with dyslexia. For this purpose, the online questionnaire data of 313 teachers were analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM). It was found that perceived behavioural control in particular has a significant impact on the intention to adapt teaching, alongside attitudes and the subjective norm, while positive and negative beliefs influence teachers? attitudes. A further SEM showed that beliefs again had no significant additional influence on behavioural intention. The findings highlight the need for targeted intervention to promote behaviour intention through enhancing self-efficacy and other factors. Through the identification of specific influencing factors, it will be possible to develop better methods of support for pupils with dyslexia and to support the professional development of teachers.
