Abstract	Ausgehend von der aktuellen Situation der Ausbildungs- und Studienabbrüche in Deutschland und dem demographisch bedingten zunehmenden Fachkräftemangel in fast allen Bereichen der Wirtschaft und der Organisation eines funktionierenden gesellschaftlichen Lebens werden Hintergründe beleuchtet und Wege zu einer wirksamen Berufsorientierung aufgezeigt. Es geht dabei nicht um Prozessketten, die Darstellung idealer Ablaufbilder oder die Koordination von Akteuren für die Aktion "Berufsorientierung", sondern vielmehr um eine Sensibilisierung dafür, wie Berufsorientierung im Kopf eines Menschen ausgelöst, angenommen, für Entscheidungen umgesetzt und letztlich im Handeln zum Ausdruck gebracht wird. Dabei wird sich den Bedingungsfeldern für Berufsorientierung zugewandt, die Rolle von Potenzialanalysen als eine Orientierungsvoraussetzung analysiert und sich der Organisation von Bewährungssituationen für Orientierung-Suchenden als Kern der Berufsorientierung gewidmet. In diesem Zusammenhang wird auf die Rolle der "Wichtigkeit", der Abwägungen und Kompromisse, der Emotionen und Erziehung der Gefühle, hilfreiche didaktische Prinzipien und toxische Entscheidungsbarrieren eingegangen. Es werden ein "Berufsorientierungstrichter" und eine Stofflich-zeitliche Gliederung für einen Kompaktlehrgang "Berufsorientierung" angeboten. (Autor). Based on the current situation of training and study drop-outs in Germany and the demographically induced increasing shortage of skilled workers in almost all areas of the economy and the organization of a functioning social life, backgrounds are illuminated and ways to effective career guidance are shown. The focus is not on process chains, the presentation of ideal sequences or the coordination of actors for the "vocational orientation" campaign, but rather on raising awareness of how vocational orientation is triggered in a person's mind, accepted, implemented for decisions and ultimately expressed in action. In doing so, the project will focus on the conditions for vocational orientation, analyse the role of potential analyses as a prerequisite for orientation and address the organization of probationary situations for those seeking orientation as the core of vocational orientation. In this context, the role of "importance", trade-offs and compromises, emotions and the education of feelings, helpful didactic principles and toxic decision barriers are discussed. A "career orientation funnel" and a material-temporal structure for a compact "career orientation" course are offered. (Author).
