Abstract	Der vorliegende Bericht schaut aus Sicht von Bildungsgewerkschaften weltweit auf den Status von Lehrenden und den Lehrberuf. Er wird seit 2015 alle 3 Jahre publiziert. Der Bericht geht dabei in verschiedenen Kapiteln auf folgende Themen ein: Lehrergewerkschaften verstehen, Status und Arbeitsbedingungen von Lehrenden, der Lehrberuf, Arbeitsbedingungen von Lehrenden, Professionalität von Lehrenden, Rechenschaft/Verantwortlichkeit (Accountability), Mediensicht auf Lehrende und Gewerkschaften, staatliche Unterstützung der öffentlichen Bildung, Privatisierung, Hochschulbildung, Aktivitäten von Lehrergewerkschaften, internationale Normen, Rechte und Schutz, Schlussfolgerungen und politische Implikationen. This report looks at the status of teachers and the teaching profession from the perspective of education unions worldwide. It has been published every three years since 2015.
