As part of the pilot study "Future Subject Informatics", the relevance of future-oriented subject areas in IT subjects at business academies was surveyed from the perspective of teachers in order to provide a sound basis for the upcoming curriculum work. For this purpose, a questionnaire was developed and teachers in the subject of IT at business academies were interviewed in a nationwide survey on IT trends. The topics Spreadsheets, Publication and Communication, Big Data and Cyber-Security as well as Communication/Organization and electronic official channels were rated as particularly relevant. The central recommendation for active IT teachers is to take the current trends into account and use them as part of the regular curriculum. |
