Abstract	This book examines the education-mobility nexus at an individual and EU policy level. With particular reference to second generations and highly-qualified 'knowledgable' movers, the authors present empirical research on young and adult migrants in Italy, and Italian professionals in European and non-European destinations. This original, data-driven book contributes to wider debates on education policy, the sociology of education and migration studies. Roberta Ricucci is Full Professor of the Sociology of Migration and Sociology of Islam at the University of Turin, Italy, and a research affiliate at the Center for the Study of Religion and Society at the University of Notre Dame, USA. Tanja Schroot is MSCA Postdoctoral Fellow at Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway, Affiliate at the University of Turin, Italy and Contract Professor for Sociology of Education at the University of Aosta, Italy.
