Abstract	This study explored the association between high-school students' participation in integrative projects and, on the one hand, the development of transversal competences and, on the other, peer assessment. A mixed exploratory-sequential approach was applied within an action research design through a participatory qualitative component followed by a correlational quantitative component (n = 369). Relationships were tested using Spearman's rho (alpha = 0.05) A moderate positive correlation was found between project participation and transversal competences (rho = 0.34, p < 0.001), and a small positive correlation between project participation and peer assessment (rho = 0.26, p < 0.001) Findings indicate that integrative projects, framed within action research, are a promising strategy for strengthening transversal competences and formative peer-assessment practices in upper-secondary education.
