Abstract	Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, state propaganda has rapidly invaded not only Russian media and public spaces, but also the country's education system. Public schools have been transformed into incubators of young citizens who are expected to be ready to support Russia's aggressive foreign policy by voting, paying taxes, and participating directly in the war. Teachers are expected not only to bring up the next generation in accordance with the new "patriotic" curriculum, but also to be exemplary citizens themselves. Drawing on a recent report (OVD-Info 2026) by the human rights media project OVD-Info, which monitors and investigates repression in modern Russia, this article highlights the main patterns of pressure on public school education and teachers, looking at the cases of 86 schoolteachers who have faced pressure or been prosecuted since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
