Abstract	The current Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy (PESP) workforce framework in Spain can be considered inherited from previous generations. In the 1980s, the training and the access to the physical education (PE) teacher profession were separated for Primary and Secondary Education. This probably marks the beginning of the continued misalignment of the PESP workforce systems, present today. In this chapter, we uncovered how this workforce system is organized, while analyzing a series of dualisms observed: school networks, teacher training, access to a teaching position, professional organizations, and universities. We will also discuss some problems connected to these dualisms: continuous professional development and Educational Laws. Finally, we will discuss some "promising developments". (Verlagsinformation).
