Abstract | In this chapter a mindfulness-based approach to teaching qualitative research methods is presented. After defining mindfulness and showing how mindfulness has been used in college classrooms so far and to what effects and how it relates to core ideas in qualitative research the undergraduate course and some of the core mindfulness practices and their use to illustrate ideas in qualitative research are described. Then some own expressions as well as the reflections of two course participants show how the course was received and what did and did not work. (ZPID). |
