Abstract	Dieser Beitrag untersucht, welche pastoralen und synodalen Setting nötig sind, damit Empowerment eine Zielperspektive der Jugendpastoral ist. Dazu wird in einem ersten Teil das Instrumentum laboris der Bischofssynode 2023 über die Synodalität mit den Ergebnissen der Jugendsynode 2018 in Beziehung gesetzt. Daraus gewonnene Postulate nimmt der zweite Teil produktiv auf, um konkrete Settings und Voraussetzungen zu diskutieren, in denen Empowerment eine Zielperspektive der Jugendpastoral ist. Der Fokus richtet sich dabei auf Settings und Haltungen, die den 'sensus fidei' junger Menschen schürfen, junge Menschen als 'locus theologicus' anerkennen und sie als Protagonist:innen der Jugendpastoral fördern. This contribution explores which pastoral and synodal settings are necessary to make empowerment a target perspective of youth ministry. In the first part, the Instrumentum laboris of the Synod of Bishops 2023 on synodality is related to the results of the Synod of Bishops on Youth 2018. The resulting postulates make it possible to theologically justify the inclusion of young people in pastoral and synodal processes and, to demand it from bishops and church authorities. Thus, the 'sensus fidei' of young people and young people themselves must be perceived and taken seriously as locus theologicus and protagonists of church action. The second part takes up these aspects productively to discuss concrete settings and conditions in which empowerment is a target perspective of youth ministry. The focus is on settings and attitudes that explore the sensus fidei of young people, recognise them as locus theologicus and encourage them to be protagonists in youth ministry.
