Abstract	Eine Lokomotive ist eine Lokomotive ist eine Lokomotive. Eine Ampel ist eine Ampel ist eine Ampel. Eine semaphore ist (k)eine Ampel. Ein Objekt ist eine Instanz einer Klasse. Die Klassenanalyse ist in vielen wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen ein Problem. Bei der objektorientierten Analyse stellen sich Fragen: Wann ist eine Ampel eine Ampel? Welche der vielen Aspekte des betrachteten Gegenstandes oder Prozesses sollen analysiert werden? Welches sind adaequate Mittel der Repraesentation dieser Aspekte in einem Rechner? Wie sollen und koennen diese Aspekte modelliert werden?. A locomotive is a locomotive is a locomotive. Traffic lights are traffic lights are traffic lights. A semaphore is (not) a traffic light. Class analysis is a problem in many scientific disciplines. With object-oriented analysis several questions arise: When is a traffic light a traffic light? Which one of the many aspects of the examined object or process should be analysed? Which are the adequate means of representing these aspects in a computer? In which way should and can these aspects be modelled?.
