Abstract | The current developments and tendencies of globalisation result in a highly complex design and implementation of vocational education in the partnership countries of development cooperation. It can be assumed that the ideas type of a polarity profile is divided in vocational training where the traditional system of vocational training increasingly associate with environment-referred innovative vocational training. But they are also partly competitively. Macerations in examples of traditional career profiles, modular qualification concepts, varieties of eLearning methods, increasinly more flexible competences based on education and "lifelong learning" are a kind of symptoms. Current and future decades will challenge and become developed on a path toward a knowledge-based society. They will use the know-how and the competence, which the new media always offers. ... In context of the future lifelong learning various initiation will be based on biography consideration processes of education from childhood over adolescence till the high adulthood - with strong orientation on occupation, working process and the operation requirement. During this process of different ranks of qualification it comes to an increasing cross setting of vocational and general education, which is represent an additional, strategic requirement of the German Development Cooperation (EZ).
