Abstract | "The high rate of migration in Sub-Saharan Africa is of contemporary interest to researchers and policy makers. This hook examines aspects of this in the southeast of Nigeria. It is a collection of studies and papers by researchers and academics working and residing in the region. In eighteen chapters, the dimensions, causes, trends, direction and consequences of migration are examined. The hook confirms the high level of migration, the economic and social forces prompting migration, as well as its consequences for livelihood." (author's abstract). Content: C.
