Abstract | The Bologna-Process changed the European Higher Education System sustainable. Positive impacts for Europe and the European Integration Process are intended. A better and easier students mobility plays an important role to reach these long term changes. But recent discussions and publications painted a picture of worsen national and international mobility opportunities in the new study curses. The statistical findings of this paper which are based on a mobility survey form spring 2007 conducted by HIS Higher Education System and HRK German Rectors Conference follows these already published tendencies. By using multivariate logistic regression models deeper findings of the national mobility opportunities are presented. First: Students, who want to study up to a Bachelor-degree have significant less chances to do internships then students in the traditional study courses, as well as students who finish with a Masters. Especially in front of a better students employability this result has to be critically discussed. Second: Students, who add a Masters have significant more chances to change university. Students continuing with a Masters are mor likely to change and it seems that the step from a Bachelors to a Masters stimulates German students to change university. (DIPF/Orig.). |
