| Abstract | Educational phenomena, as a whole and especially intercultural education, represents one of the most important lever of restructuring Romanian society for the purpose of engaging it successfully in the complex process of European integration. Confronted with the tension between national and international as global tendency, the evolution of contemporary society can follow trajectories difficult to predict, with consequences sometimes fatal and difficult to estimate, in the condition of the absence of some efficient instructive-formative steps. With the view of avoiding the appearance of some situations, it is necessary to give a special attention to the place and to the role of the intercultural education inside the educational system and the society as a whole. |
