Abstract | This book is the European Commission's official guide for employers, careers advisers, placement officers and job-seekers on opportunities for graduates to work in the Member States of the European Union. It covers all 15 Member States. Following the removal of barriers, graduates have 15 countries within the Union to choose from when making career decisions. Equally, employers can now visit universities from Finland to Portugal in their search for the best graduates. Never has such a range of education, employment and expertise been so widely available...and potentially so confusing. The book has a general introduction which includes a 'starting-out' guide for employers and job-seekers and information on the EURES network. The section 'CVs across the Union' provides a checklist of national norms and expectations. (DIPF/Text taken from cover). |
