Abstract | The report consists of two sections: The summaries of the country reports and the synthesis of these reports, followed of recommendations. The reports cover the following topics: "the most pressing educational issues and problems in the country; linkages between educational research, educational reform and decision- making, particularly: the role of educational research in planning and implementing education reform in such areas as curricular reform and decision-making; and identification of future research and information needs for educational reform and educational decision- making; major educational information sources available in the country, particularly with regard to: types of information collected and disseminated, types of users, and lingage or access to information services and networks outside the country; and the main obstacles preventing a greater use of educational research findings and information for educational reform and decision-making."
