| Abstract | [MAFPEN: Missions académiques pour la formation des personels de l'Éducation nationale] In 1982 in the académie of Rennes like in other académies, inservice training was only really organised for primary school teachers. Synergies had to be created and finally teaching methods had to be transformed without overlooking subject content. The MAFPEN started functioning outside the hierarchy. Collective work progressed thanks to wide consultation and the search for a consensus; this did not go without difficulties and failures. The main benefits were the creation of plural groups in charge of defining the different trainings by analysing the needs on the spot; of local groups and research groups; of district teams helping the schools; the double program consisting of cross-disciplinary training and of updating of subject knowledge. The interdependence with preservice training already appeared clearly. (DIPF/orig.) |
