Abstract	[The book] seeks to provide an overview of arrangements for educating and training people with disabilities once they pass beyond the age of compulsory schooling. It was prompted in part by current concerns across the OECD countries about people's access to the labour market and about means of preparing them for it.... Part 1 considers trends identified across participating countries with respect to prevalence of disabilities, related national policies and legislation, transition from schooling, funding, provision, the curriculum, support services, information technology, tacher training, community involvement and eventual outcomes for people with didabilities.... Part 2 presents key informations derived from the country reports, under the same "issues" headers as those used in part 1.
