Abstract | [The article gives a short summary of a scientific research project.] In this collaborative project between the USA and Germany, [the researchers] propose to translate the Integrated Screening and Intervention System Teacher Rating Form (ITRF [...]) into German using forward-backward translation following the Kidscreen translation guidelines [...]. Once the translation process is complete, the psychometric characteristics of the German Language version will be evaluated in a large sample of approximately 400 German schoolchildren from grades K to 6, and the acceptability of the measure will be investigated in a sample of German schoolteachers. In addition, measurement invariance will be evaluated across both English and German versions using samples from both countries. Finally, the study results will be submitted for publication to the Journal of School Psychology. This project will be used as a stepping-stone to submit a larger grant proposal focusing on collecting ITRF normative data and linking results to effective intervention (i.e., daily behavior report cards). |
