Abstract | Web-based instruction (WBI) is the latest wave of distance education development and one of the most promising instructional modes. Recent WBI research reports have indicated the effectiveness and utility of this instructional method for students and teachers. However, the relationships between the variables that have an impact on WBI have not been investigated. This study, which is a part of a larger study that was conducted to investigate student teachers' attitude toward and their perception of the utility of WBI, aimed at exploring the interrelationships between some selected variables related to participants' attitude and self-perception of WBI. A pre-post questionnaire was administered to 58 student teachers at the College of Education, United Arab Emirates University. Results revealed many relationships between variables studied. Recommendations were derived. (Contains 3 tables.) (As Provided). |
