Abstract | The paper assessed the after effect of Beijing women conference of 1995. It looked at issues of women with special regard to the resistance of men to women advancing to higher position; the rate of exposure of rural women to the struggle of women for equal opportunities with men and the attitudes of traditional men and women towards education of women. The achievements of women in their struggle for equal right with men and still pending problems were evaluated. Based on the above, recommendations were made. (Contains 3 tables.) (As Provided). |
