Abstract | Robert J. Sternberg is Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, Professor of Psychology, and Adjunct Professor of Education at Tufts University. He also is Honorary Professor of Psychology at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. Prior to joining the faculty at Tufts, he was IBM Professor of Psychology and Education in the Department of Psychology, Professor of Management in the School of Management, and Director of the Center for the Psychology of Abilities, Competencies, and Expertise at Yale. In this interview, Sternberg talks about what led him to the field of psychology and the most important lessons that he learned from a mentor. He also talks about one of the influential theories he developed and some of the other research that he's currently working on. (ERIC). |
