Abstract	The purpose of this study is to establish the level of opportunities given to prospective physics teachers by practice schools in order to demonstrate their skills they developed through teaching programs. This study has been carried out by employing case study approach. As the first step, the curricula of the teaching professional courses offered in numerous teacher education faculties are tabulated, using document analysis. Then, the expected behavioral skills for prospective teachers are listed in accordance with interviews with five professors at KTU. With the guidance of these data, to determine both the degree of opportunity and the level of success, the professional activities of eight prospective physics teachers in these schools are observed using an observation chart. Finally, semi-structured interviews are carried out to obtain ideas, expectations and comments of eight prospective teachers and tutors. The obtained observational data showed that student-teachers are not offered ample opportunity in practice schools to demonstrate their skill, to utilize laboratory and education technology, to prepare evaluation-material, and to create simple tool-equipments.
