Abstract | In early 2002, Jean King, Mel Mark, Robin Miller, and Stacey Stockdill began a project to conduct oral history interviews with individuals who have made signal contributions to the program evaluation field and those well-placed observers who were present at and played a role in pivotal moments in the field. In developing this project, it is our goal to add to the important historical work conducted by others documenting the professional development of individuals who have influenced the way evaluation is understood and practiced today. We also hope to capture the spirit of the times in which these individuals' ideas and interests were nurtured. In this, our second oral history interview, we spoke with Lois-ellin Datta. The interview was conducted by Robin Miller and Valerie Caracelli, with assistance from Aleise Matthews, Jules Marquart, and Irving Lazar. (ERIC). |
