Abstract | Describes two forms of governance (Senates and stakeholders) in higher education institutions in South Africa arguing that governance by Senates is the most appropriate practice for universities. Concludes that corruption in Senates is possible but stakeholders will not eliminate this problem and instead contribute to the demise of higher education. (CMK) |
