Abstract | Adult education tends to provide individualized responses, framed in labor market terms, to social transformation within the "risk society." This contributes to social inequality and the privatization of identity development. Adult educators should reconceptualize the ethnic and aesthetic dimensions of the field toward social participation and responsibility. (SK) |
