Abstract | Although the Web is being used to support instruction, it is used to support a traditional model of university instruction, sacrificing much of its potential. Presents a generic six-point model of Web-based university instruction: specify goals to pursue; accept diversity of outcomes; request production of knowledge; evaluate at the task level; build learning teams; and encourage global communities.
