Abstract | Responds to Kofi Lomotey's comments on unequal schooling and African-American scholars' marginality in the same "EAQ" issue. Educational administration programs have historically excluded minority and female faculty. Newly hired minority faculty may have difficulty shifting from applied to academic settings. More must be done to diversify faculty and encourage academic research on student disenfranchisement. (MLH) |
