Abstract | Occupational sex segregation is characteristic of pink and blue collar jobs. The work that women do is consistently undervalued in comparison, and many jobs held by women have become less secure. Initiatives in traditional and nontraditional vocational education and secondary school-workplace linkages are needed. (SK) |
