Abstract | Within a large sample of clinic-referred children (n=182) with diagnosed attention deficit disorder (ADD), 82 met discrepancy criteria for specific reading disability (RD) with proportionately more boys than girls meeting the RD criteria. Boys in the ADD sample who did not meet RD criteria had significantly higher IQs. (Author/DB) |
