Abstract | An individualized approach to instruction involves providing instruction that recognizes and responds to the unique learning needs of each child. Successful implementation of an individualized approach in special education settings may be accomplished through: grouping for instruction, organizing the classroom into learning centers, writing objectives, and diagnostic-prescriptive teaching.
