Abstract | Investigation of the role of intellectual giftedness in influencing parents' perceptions and mediation of gifted (N=364) and non-gifted (N=386) fourth-graders' television viewing revealed that all parents exercised modest levels of intervention. However, students' intellectual giftedness did influence parents' perceptions of the possible impact of television on their children. (Author/CB) |
