Abstract | Comparison data (High School and Beyond) on 439 self-identified learning disabled (LD) students and their nonimpaired peers indicated the learning disabled group was older, included a disproportionately high number of minority members, and reported significantly more other disabling conditions. LD students scored significantly lower on academic measures and on self-esteem and motivation. (Author/CL) |
