Abstract | Florida State University researchers asked 185 student teachers to identify their "most significant other" and to describe that person using a semantic differential of 27 bipolar adjective pairs. Seventy percent of the students ranked cooperating teachers first. The study points to the importance of emotional support and guidance by cooperating teachers. (PP) |
