Abstract | This article aims to answer the role the Catholic school plays in Chile's current context and what role religion plays in this process. It is the purpose of this article to answer the question of the role of religion and spirituality in shaping the meaning of life of young people in the final stage of schooling, particularly in Catholic confessional schools. By using quantitative methods, the results show that in the analysis of the meaning variable and its impact on dimensions of characterisation, there are differences in the score of the meaning of life according to the religious self-definition of students. Also, to observe the differences when comparing Catholic schools versus secular schools. (As Provided). |
