Abstract | Does the contribution of children during the design process help graphic designers to create more efficient learning tools? In order to answer this research question, an experiment using both the user-centred design method and a traditional design method (without users' consultancy) was conducted. The aim of this study was to verify whether the user-centred design method is effective in the design of graphic learning tools for primary school. The results show, among other things, that there was a greater level of difficulty in designing projects without the participation of children, than designing with them. Finally, the use of the user-centred design method is recommended both in print and product design disciplines, especially when the target audience is very specific. (As Provided). |
