Abstract | The present study explores gender differences in social anxiety, social skills, aggression, and stress and correlations between social anxiety and social skills, aggression, and stress. This study also attempts to determine the best predictors of social anxiety among adolescents. Results from a sample of 300 commercial institute students in State of Kuwait showed differences between males and females for all variables except social skills. Correlational analyses revealed positive relationship between social anxiety with aggression and stress for males, and negative relationship between social anxiety and social skills for females. Stress was best predictor of social anxiety for males, and social skills was best predictor for females. (As Provided). |
