AbstractThe aim of the study was to determine the correlation between self-efficacy and job satisfaction among the physical education teachers. The study was carried out in correlational survey model and the study sample was made up by 306 physical education teachers who worked in different geographical regions of Turkey. The data were assessed using SPSS statistical software and Lisrel statistical software. The analyses of the data were performed using descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. As a result of the analyses, it was determined that self-efficacy and job-satisfaction levels of the physical education teachers were high. It was found out that the study model, which was based on the correlational status between self-efficacy and job-satisfaction, was an appropriate model and there was statistically positive and significant correlation between self-efficacy and job-satisfaction (r = 0.30, t = 4.02) (p<0.05). This showed that an increase of 1 point in self-efficacy would result in an increase of 0.30 in job-satisfaction and/or a decrease of 1 point in self-efficacy would result in a decrease of 0.30 in job-satisfaction among the teachers. (As Provided).
