(DIPF/Orig.). Collaboration along the phases "study", "preparatory service", and "school practice" has been discussed as a powerful mechanism for theory-practice interrelation and innovation development in teacher education. Against this background, the concept of research-practice partnerships has been attracting increasing attention in the international discourse. The present contribution first recapitulates its most prominent sub-types and general principles. Second, based on the example of a boundary-crossing collaboration format, the so-called "development teams", we discuss potentials and challenges regarding their implementation. |
