Abstract | "Curriculum Studies in India examines participating Indian scholars regarding their intellectual life histories and subjective investments in their field. Sketching their intellectual history and present circumstances of curriculum studies in India, scholars emphasized their own engagement and research, each introduced by William Pinar. From these works, Pinar learned that historical (dis)continuities, cultural conflict, economic globalization, and political tension characterize the present circumstances of curriculum studies in India. The rapidity and scale of economic growth today creates conflict, dislocation, inequality, "echoes" of a colonial past now present in globalization". - Machine generated contents note:1.Curriculum in India: Narratives, Debates and a Deliberative Agenda; Poonam Batra; 2.
