Abstract | The purpose of this article is to study the present mechanics that lead onto the job of secondary school teacher. First the specificities are defined from the point of view of the new teachers' social origins, of their genders, of their courses of study at school level and at academic level then they are compared with the rest of the students that left university at the same level of study. Basing... on academic achievements and on a series of interviews with new secondary teachers, [the author then tries] to interpret the logics of accessing the job of secondary school teacher basing starting from the notion of link with the academic subject that has been studied. [The author eventually studies] the variations of this logics of job access for secondary school teachers, in relation to the academic subjects studied. (DIPF/Orig.). |
