Abstract | Evaluated a teacher training project in Israel for teaching Jewish culturally valued subjects focusing on the practicum activities of the first year. Many of the 16 student teachers displayed a significant measure of reflectivity, but their critical reflection was almost completely undeveloped. Results suggest that the key to developing reflective teachers lies in the quality of pedagogical guidance provided. (SLD) |
