| Abstract | The negative impact of stress on the teacher involved, on the daily life of the school, and on the educational experience of students makes it imperative that effective responses to the problem be devised. However, to modify an individual propensity to use the coping strategies ... , we need a fuller understanding of the personal and environmental contexts in which they occur. ... The purpose of the present study is to extend our understanding of the strategies used by teachers in coping with educational stress events in different cultural settings.
