AbstractThis study aimed to assess the level of the use of positive behavioral support strategies (PBS) by teachers of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Amman, the study sample consisted of 100 teachers (male, female) work at centers that provide services for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) distributed on the variables (sex, the major, educational qualification, experience) .For data collection, the researcher design tool consists of 30 items distributed in three dimensions: (PBS) for grade level, (PBS) for groups level, (PBS) for individual level, measure the level of used strategies (PBS) by teachers of children with autism spectrum disorder in Amman, and the tool's validity and reliability semantics had extracted. The results indicated that the level of use (PBS) strategies by teachers of children with autism spectrum disorder in Amman came moderately with mean (3.64), and (PBS) at groups level was in the first level with the highest arithmetic average (3.70), while (PBS) at the individual level was in last level with mean (3.58). The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences (a = 0.05) for the impact of sex in all dimensions and in the total score. As results indicated that there are no statistically significant differences at (a = 0.05) due to the impact of the major, educational qualification and experience in all dimensional of the total score, and the differences were in favor of the special need, bachelor (the major), and experience for more than five years.
