Abstract | In 2011, American School & University (AS&U) showcased some of the hottest products in the industry. This article presents the top ten most requested products as determined by readers. The top one on the list is the Bulb crusher which can cut recycling costs by 50%, can hold 1,350 4-foot lamps in a single 55-gallon drum, can crush a 4-foot lamp in less than 1 second and can capture more than 99.9% of vapors released. Next is the Faucet Selector which enables visitors to select and match the options of electronic faucets and features such as type of mounting, application, spout and power source. Also included in the top ten are Cub Cadet Commercial TANK S LP steer technology; VP Buildings cost-efficient building system solutions; EverWhite whiteboards; Terazzo flooring; Videx CyberLock electronic access-control system; Haws Brita Hydration Station; Willoughby Industries outdoor drinking fountains; and nora systems, Inc. flooring installation.
