| Abstract | In the post-Soviet period there has been a substantial change in the character of employment of the teaching personnel at state universities in Russia. There has been a decline in the percentage of the instructors on full salary, distribution by age groups is becoming more uniform, and the qualifications structure is changing. There is a possibility that there will be a decline in the qualification level of teaching personnel as a whole in future years. (Contains 6 figures and 4 tables.) (As Provided). |
