Abstract | In order to realise the strategic aim of constructing new socialist rural communities in the 21st century, "new farmers' education" has been placed on the Chinese government's agenda and will soon become a very important issue of Chinese adult education in both research and its practice. As an adult educational researcher I first collected a series of these kinds of policies from which to extract and interpret the practical plans and applications of the "new farmers' education" in China. Then I collected the empirical data concerning the implementation of policies through field surveys and interviews in the countryside of the Hebei Province. Based on which, I mainly argue and summarise several aspects of such policy implementations such as the operations, characteristics and difficulties. (As Provided). |
