Abstract	In this article, the author discusses the Association for Science Education (ASE) Annual Conference and presents some thoughts in preparation for the annual conference. Putting together a programme of PSC Special Events has been more challenging than usual as members attempt to determine what the changes and issues will be in January, with the direction for the English curriculum not yet clearly set by the new Government. The programme is mainly focused around the themes of practical science and curriculum development. The ASE Annual Conference has a lot to offer primary members and the author intends to make the most of yet another great opportunity to learn and share, by both attending and presenting sessions.
