Abstract | Teacher education in physical education has received much attention in literature over the years. Vying for our attention as teacher educators in physical education are a range of pedagogical models. Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) is one such model. This autoethnographical account explores our teaching of TGfU in two culturally diverse settings--one in a Melbourne university setting and one in Malaysia. It explores the similarities and differences between teaching in these different cultures and makes some suggestions for future exploration in the area. (As Provided). |
